1.2 Interaction Data. We may collect various types of information about your interactions with the Services ("Interaction Data") by observing how you interact with the Services. This Interaction Data may be collected using a variety of technologies that automatically (or passively) collect certain information whenever you visit or interact with the Services. For example, we may collection Interaction Data regarding your use of the Services including IP addresses, location information (for example, as indicated by an IP address or similar identifier), pages of the Site visited by you, information you search for using the Services, dates and times you registered for the Services, dates and time you activated the Services, dates and times you access the Services, dates and times you added and/or edited your post or profile information including password, dates and times you send or receive messages, dates and times you provided or received reviews and the type of hardware and software you are using (e.g., your operating system and/or browser and your device ID).
1.3 Web Beacons. We may use "web beacons" to collect information about your interactions with the Services. A web beacon is a small graphic image (e.g., "1x1 GIFs" or "clear GIFs") or other web programming code which may be included in pages of the Site and other components of the Services. A web beacon may include a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and is used to track a user's usage of the Services. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer, web beacons are embedded invisibly on pages of the Site.
1.4 Embedded Scripts. An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Services, such as the links you click on. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your device from our web server or a third party service provider, is active only while you are connected to the Services, and is deactivated or deleted thereafter.
1.5 Cookies. We may use "cookies" to collect information about your interactions with the Services and to provide various features. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your device and is stored in your web browser. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all aspects of the Services.
1.6 Support Data. We may collect support data when you submit a support request including information about hardware, software, and other details related to the support incident, such as contact or authentication information, information about the condition of the machine and product or service when the fault occurred and during diagnostics.
1.7 Financial Information. We may ask you to provide your credit card or other financial account information to enable us to charge your account when you purchase services from us. All information you will be asked to provide is protected during transmission using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) or TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption to prevent it from being intercepted as it is transferred over the Internet.
1.8 External Services Information. If you chose to connect your PoolXing account to an account of an external service, such as a social networking site, we may collect certain information from your external service accounts. We will not collect any information other than the types of information you authorize such services to provide to us. You may provide such authorization during the connection process. For example, if you chose to connect your PoolXing account to a social networking account, we may collect your public profile information or your list of friends if you agree to the collection of this information during the connection process.
2.2 Interaction Data; Web Beacons; Embedded Scripts. We may use your Interaction Data, Web Beacons, and information obtained from Embedded Scripts to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer the Services. We may also use the information to help us better manage content on our Services by informing us about what content is effective, to count users of the Services, and to monitor how users navigate the Services. We do not tie Interaction Data or information collected from web beacons and embedded scripts to collected Personal Information.
2.4 Support Data. We may use Support Data to help diagnose problems with our Services and to contact you with support information.
2.5 Financial Information. We will provide Financial Information only to third parties involved in processing payments for the services we provide.
2.6 External Services Information. If you chose to connect your PoolXing account to an account of an external service, such as a social networking site, we may publish posts via the external services on your behalf, but only if you give us permission to do so. Additionally, the content of the published posts will be limited to describing your interactions with the Services.
(i) as necessary to provide any component of the Services requested by you; (ii) as necessary to process payments;
(iii) in connection with requests from law enforcement officials, government agencies, or otherwise as required in connection with legal proceedings; and
(iv) in connection with a merger or sale of our business, or in the event of bankruptcy, we may sell, transfer, or otherwise share some or all of the information we collect;
(v) as a part of a set of non-private, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal information, such as aggregated usage statistics.
