This Privacy Policy explains the information gathering and dissemination practices of PoolXing, LLC ("PoolXing") regarding personal information collected by PoolXing directly from individuals ("you") in connection with the PoolXing website, currently located at (the "Site"), the PoolXing mobile application, and any other PoolXing services (collectively, the "Services"). PoolXing may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Services and customer feedback, and such changes shall become effective promptly after they are posted. PoolXing encourages you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to be informed of any changes. BY USING ANY OF THE SERVICES, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE PRACTICES DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

1.1 Personal Information. We may collect various types of personal information provided by you in connection with the Services ("Personal Information"). We may request Personal Information using various forms and in various places through the Services, including when you register with the Services, sign in to the Services, enter or update your profile information, post or request a ride, contact another user, enter user rating or write a review. Personal Information we collect may include email address, password, full name, date of birth, profile images, education background, workplace information, link to LinkedIn profile, hobbies and interests and ridesharing preferences. In addition to Personal Information, we may also collect information entered in the post that includes start and end address, the date and time of post entry and edit, date and time of ridesharing request, driver or passenger selection, asking price for the ride, gender selection, smoker or non-smoker selection, whether the travel is recurring; and other information in the post including but not limited to vehicle information, event information and notes. In addition to this, we may also collect the messages used to contact other users, user reviews and user ratings entered using the Services.

1.2 Interaction Data. We may collect various types of information about your interactions with the Services ("Interaction Data") by observing how you interact with the Services. This Interaction Data may be collected using a variety of technologies that automatically (or passively) collect certain information whenever you visit or interact with the Services. For example, we may collection Interaction Data regarding your use of the Services including IP addresses, location information (for example, as indicated by an IP address or similar identifier), pages of the Site visited by you, information you search for using the Services, dates and times you registered for the Services, dates and time you activated the Services, dates and times you access the Services, dates and times you added and/or edited your post or profile information including password, dates and times you send or receive messages, dates and times you provided or received reviews and the type of hardware and software you are using (e.g., your operating system and/or browser and your device ID).

1.3 Web Beacons. We may use "web beacons" to collect information about your interactions with the Services. A web beacon is a small graphic image (e.g., "1x1 GIFs" or "clear GIFs") or other web programming code which may be included in pages of the Site and other components of the Services. A web beacon may include a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and is used to track a user's usage of the Services. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer, web beacons are embedded invisibly on pages of the Site.

1.4 Embedded Scripts. An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Services, such as the links you click on. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your device from our web server or a third party service provider, is active only while you are connected to the Services, and is deactivated or deleted thereafter.

1.5 Cookies. We may use "cookies" to collect information about your interactions with the Services and to provide various features. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your device and is stored in your web browser. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all aspects of the Services.

1.6 Support Data. We may collect support data when you submit a support request including information about hardware, software, and other details related to the support incident, such as contact or authentication information, information about the condition of the machine and product or service when the fault occurred and during diagnostics.

1.7 Financial Information. We may ask you to provide your credit card or other financial account information to enable us to charge your account when you purchase services from us. All information you will be asked to provide is protected during transmission using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) or TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption to prevent it from being intercepted as it is transferred over the Internet.

1.8 External Services Information. If you chose to connect your PoolXing account to an account of an external service, such as a social networking site, we may collect certain information from your external service accounts. We will not collect any information other than the types of information you authorize such services to provide to us. You may provide such authorization during the connection process. For example, if you chose to connect your PoolXing account to a social networking account, we may collect your public profile information or your list of friends if you agree to the collection of this information during the connection process.
2.1 Personal Information. We may use the collected Personal information to operate and improve the Services, to administer your use of the Services, to communicate with you, and to personalize your experience. We may use your Personal Information to contact you about your account or about certain Services. You may opt-out of certain types of communications by editing your account settings.

2.2 Interaction Data; Web Beacons; Embedded Scripts. We may use your Interaction Data, Web Beacons, and information obtained from Embedded Scripts to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer the Services. We may also use the information to help us better manage content on our Services by informing us about what content is effective, to count users of the Services, and to monitor how users navigate the Services. We do not tie Interaction Data or information collected from web beacons and embedded scripts to collected Personal Information.

2.3 Cookies. We may use cookies to provide you with the Services and to improve your user experience. For example, we may use cookies to store your preferences and settings, help with sign-in, to determine whether you are logged into the Services, to provide targeted ads, and to analyze site operations. We also use them to recognize return visitors and to provide other certain features (e.g., customized delivery of information on the Services).

2.4 Support Data. We may use Support Data to help diagnose problems with our Services and to contact you with support information.

2.5 Financial Information. We will provide Financial Information only to third parties involved in processing payments for the services we provide.

2.6 External Services Information. If you chose to connect your PoolXing account to an account of an external service, such as a social networking site, we may publish posts via the external services on your behalf, but only if you give us permission to do so. Additionally, the content of the published posts will be limited to describing your interactions with the Services.
PoolXing may disclose to third parties information we collect from you in connection with the Services for the following reasons:

(i) as necessary to provide any component of the Services requested by you;
(ii) as necessary to process payments;
(iii) in connection with requests from law enforcement officials, government agencies, or otherwise as required in connection with legal proceedings; and
(iv) in connection with a merger or sale of our business, or in the event of bankruptcy, we may sell, transfer, or otherwise share some or all of the information we collect;
(v) as a part of a set of non-private, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal information, such as aggregated usage statistics.

If you would like to contact PoolXing regarding the use of your information collected in connection with the Services, the types of third parties to whom we disclose such information, ways to limit the use and disclosure of such information, or to access, correct, amend, or delete your Personal Information collected in connection with the Services that is stored on our systems, please send an email to with your request.
The Services may contain links to external websites and services. PoolXing is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such third party websites. PoolXing encourages users to be aware when they leave the Services to read the privacy statements of other websites that collect personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by PoolXing via the Services.
PoolXing implements industry-standard security measures designed to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, destruction or alteration of the Personal Information we collect via the Services. We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored "personal data" (as defined in applicable state statutes on security breach notification) to you via email or conspicuous posting via the Services without unreasonable delay, insofar as such disclosures are consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.
